Delbert Hosemann, the Mississippi secretary of state since 2008,  won 81.5 percent of the vote in the Republican primary for lieutenant governor Tuesday and that means his distinctive campaign signs will stay up for another three months.

I see the signs almost every day and their colors remind me of an NFL team: the Denver Broncos.

The website Schemecolor describes the Broncos logo as Oxford blue, white and international orange, and there's no debate the Hosemann campaign has the palette associated with John Elway, Peyton Manning, Mile High and three Super Bowl titles.

The Broncos have had this logo since 1997, and with that, they won back-to-back Super Bowl championships in 1998 and 1999 with Elway as their quarterback and added their third title in 2016 with Manning as their quarterback.

Hosemann will be out to win the Mississippi
Lieutenant Governor's Super Bowl when he faces Democrat J.P. Hughes Jr. in the general election Nov. 5
