6 exciting iPhone photos celebrate Tilly's Gulfport anniversary

Though the name of this blog is Pictures of Tilly, my posts right here on Blogger or on WordPress are rarely pictures of our beloved basset hound.

I'm breaking away from that longtime trend with this post, which features six throwback photos of Tilly as Patty and I celebrate our pet's six-year anniversary of living with us in Gulfport, Miss.

An iPhone was used to take all the pictures and I hope you will think they are exciting, and if you don't think they are exciting, I hope you will at least like them.

Tilly, short for Matilda, was born in Cleveland, Tenn., in May 2013 and Patty and I drove there in August 2013 to pick her up and bring her to her permanent home in the Broadmoor neighborhood of Gulfport.

Her life as a 6-year-old is quite comfortable.

What used to be our den is basically her own room. It has a recliner, a couch, two or three dog beds and her crate, and her dog run is in the backyard, really not a place where she runs but she enjoys hanging out there with her young boyfriend.

Cayou, as in bayou, is the name of Tilly's boyfriend and he is our neighbor's cat. In the past two years, he's spent a lot more time in our front yard and backyard rather than at his owner's home right across the street.

Maybe one day I will post on this blog a Cayou.  For now, it's all about thiese pictures of Tilly.

Late 2013 or early 2014: Screenshot of a picture of the little pup in her room. She wasn't little for long.

August 2014: Ice cream for her
one-year Gulfport anniversary

June 2015: My favorite picture of Tilly, a photo that Patty took. This was on our computer screen.

January 2016: Sleeping in her recliner,
thinking she was still a baby basset while
wearing her KONG harness.

May 2017: Afternoon is for crate napping

February 2018: Couch napping is more comfortable
